Burleson Adventist Church

Pastoral Staff

Pastor Kevin has been in full time ministry for 9 years, and while he loves being the teacher of God’s word as well as providing council to those who seek it, his true passion is in equipping each person to use their unique, God given talents. As disciples of Christ, who are committed to following Jesus, these talents will not only grow the Kingdom, they will deepen relationships with God and bestow a Christ given vitality to spread God’s word.

Moved by the “Great Commission” found in Matthew 28:18-20, and by the New Testament Church in Acts, Pastor Kevin believes that the most important role of the church is to be the hands and feet of Jesus, especially in the lives of those who don't know Him.

Pastor Kevin wants each person to experience for themselves the daily victory, peace, joy and love that comes from a moment by moment walk with Jesus so that all can live this life to the fullest. But above all, so that as many as possible will be ready for that incredible day when Jesus comes again to take His people home!

Pastor Kevin’s ministry could not be done without his wife of 14 years, MeLanie and their beautiful daughter, Charleigh.  In his spare time he enjoys spending time laughing with his family, riding his motorcycle, singing, playing golf as well as tennis.

Formerly a high school math teacher, Pastor Chris has enjoyed working in the ministry for 5 years.  Pastor Chris has a passion for helping young people find their identity and purpose in Jesus Christ.  Based on the beautiful words of Ephesians 2:8-10, Pastor Chris wants every young person to know that they are masterpieces of God’s g.r.a.c.e. - given life, redeemed, adopted, cherished, and empowered by the Father, Son, and Spirit.

Pastor Chris enjoys doing life and ministry with his wife Cesiah, his son Miles, and his daughter Carissa.  Pastor Chris loves to spend his leisure reading, disc golfing, playing the piano, playing basketball, and immersing into acapella music.

Rebecca is one of the most important parts of the office team at the Burleson Seventh-day Adventist Church because she is the one who keeps everything organized and running smoothly and because she has served in her role for nearly 10 years.  There are very few questions that she can’t answer for those who call the church office.  Her responsibilities vary greatly, but include publishing the weekly bulletin, coordinating membership transfers, answering phones, sending emails, coordinating church rental and use, and a number of other vital roles as well.  She is in the office Monday-Thursday from 9 am – 3 pm to serve you.  Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband Ben and her three beautiful daughters, Julia, Jenna, and Jamie.
