Burleson Adventist Church

Family Life Ministries

The families in our church and community are under attack. Children are being exposed to more dangers and adults are stretched to the maximum. More than ever, it is important to support and nurture our family units.
No matter what you call family we want you to become an intimate part of our church family. If you are single or married, a grandparent or mother of two teenage children our church is the place for you.

Women's Ministry  There's something special about the way women support and encourage each other.  We often grapple with tough situations and tough questions.

"Does God care? Is He fair? Is He even there? Although you may know all the right answers, they don’t always feel right. This Missing Pieces: Real Hope When Life Doesn’t Make Sense  provides a personal study experience for this video-driven women's Bible study. Explore these and other questions in this realistic look at the messy, mysterious uncertainties of faith. God’s ways don’t always make sense, but He is trustworthy. Come close to Him. Trust Him more than your feelings. God will reveal Himself and fill in your missing pieces."

Starting Feb. 5, meeting every Wednesday night for 7 weeks from 7:00-9:00pm at Darla Reeves' home, 1015 Fox Willow Ct. in Burleson. Please RSVP by Jan. 29 to (817)692-4295 or darlasue22@hotmail.com Workbooks are $15.00

Men's Ministry
Recognizing that men need to band together as brothers, to encourage and hold each other accountable, we have formed a men's ministry that meets on Wednesday nights from 6:15-7:15  in the homes of Buddy Keubler and Steve Thompson for Bible study and fellowship.

Mid-Week Co-Ed Bible Study: Better known as Prayer Meeting, this group meets at the church on Wednesday nights from 6:30-7:30. The current study topic is "Connections."  Our Heavenly Father longs to have a connection with us, and is happy when we have positive connections with one another. In other words, it is great to know, and to be, "The right people,in the right places, for the right reasons."

Worship Matters: This Growth Group meets on the first Sabbath of the month at 5:00pm in the church to praise the Lord through music and to study t he biblical principles of worship. Bring your instruments, bibles, and an open heart. Children are welcome in this relaxed family setting.

Growth Groups  More commonly known as Small Groups, Growth Groups are small communities of five to twelve people who connect socially and spiritually. They provide a safe place for people to grow spiritually and an avenue through which they can invite others to grow with them. Components of a Growth Group should include fellowship, bible study, prayer, and witnessing.

How can you get involved? Maybe God is leading you to open your home to a Growth Group or to join a group and invite a friend to grow with you.
